A gas station in Yabucoa was burglarized early this morning. The Gulf gas station, located at kilometer 88.8 on PR-3 in the Aguacate neighborhood, was broken into after someone damaged the locks on the main entrance door, gaining access to the interior.
The perpetrator(s) stole merchandise and cash, and also damaged the security system. The owner estimated the damages and stolen property to be around $5,000.
Agent Eduardo Santiago conducted the preliminary investigation and referred the case to the Property Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) in Humacao.
