The Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) playoffs will resume on Thursday after a week-long break due to the FIBA World Cup 2027 qualifying matches. The semifinals will feature two series: Gigantes de Carolina-Canóvanas vs. Vaqueros de Bayamón at the Coliseo Rubén Rodríguez, and Capitanes de Arecibo vs. Santeros de Aguada at the Coliseo Manuel 'Petaca' Iguina.
The Vaqueros, defending champions, finished first in Conference A with a 22-12 record, while the Gigantes finished fourth with an 18-16 record. The Capitanes, who finished second in Conference B, will face the Santeros, who returned to the playoffs after a year's absence. The Capitanes also announced the signing of new import Rashard Kelly.
