Federal Grand Jury Indicts Man for Child Exploitation and Cyber Harassment in Puerto Rico

A federal grand jury in Puerto Rico has indicted Gabriel Alfonso Núñez Robles on charges of child exploitation and cyber harassment. The indictment includes three counts of distributing, receiving, and possessing child pornography, which allegedly occurred between January and May 2026.

Núñez Robles is also charged with two counts of cyber harassment, including one count of harassing a minor, which allegedly occurred between 2016 and April 2026. Additionally, he is charged with making a threat to cause harm to an adult through electronic messaging in April.

Núñez Robles was arrested and had his initial court appearance, where Magistrate Judge Héctor Ramos Vega ordered him to be temporarily detained and set a bail hearing for July 10. The case was investigated by the FBI's Violent Crimes Against Children squad.
