The Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO) released an update on gasoline prices in Puerto Rico, amid fluctuations in fuel costs on the island. The price of regular gasoline is expected to range between $0.99 and $1.04 per liter, premium between $1.13 and $1.20, and diesel between $1.10 and $1.20.
The prices have surged due to the conflict in the Middle East and disruptions in oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global supply.
