The Puerto Rico Senate's Health Committee, chaired by Sen. The visits are intended to give the Committee firsthand information on how various components of the medical cannabis program function. Sen. Morales said the Legislative Assembly has a duty to conduct serious, objective and responsible oversight, and that the inspections will help gather valuable information to strengthen the Committee's investigation, ensuring the program operates transparently, complies with the law, and serves the best interests of patients and the people of Puerto Rico.
