Cayey to Celebrate ELA Constitution Day with Official Acts and Artistic Offerings

The Municipality of Cayey will celebrate the Constitution Day of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico on Saturday, July 25, with official acts and artistic presentations in the urban center. Mayor Rolando Ortiz Velázquez announced that the activity will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Municipal Theater, where Resident Commissioner in Washington, Pablo José Hernández Rivera, will deliver a message commemorating the occasion.

The programming will continue at 3:30 p.m. with a plena comparsa from the Municipal Theater to the Ramón Frade León plaza, where the group Plenéalo will perform. At 6:00 p.m., Grupomanía will take the stage, and the Orquesta Mulenze will close the activity at 8:00 p.m.

Mayor Ortiz Velázquez expressed satisfaction that Commissioner Hernández Rivera will participate in the event, highlighting the importance of the Constitution as the foundation of the island's laws and a guarantee of fundamental rights and duties for all Puerto Ricans.
