The play 'Malas' is returning to Puerto Rico, with Yolandita Monge and Bryan Villarini confirmed in the cast. The production, directed by Gilberto Valenzuela, will be presented on September 26 at the Sala de Festivales Antonio Paoli in Santurce. 'Malas' is a humorous and irreverent play that explores the complexities of women's behavior through monologues, sketches, and songs.
The play was first presented in Puerto Rico in 2017 with a star-studded cast, including Iris Chacón, Charytín Goyco, and Giselle Blondet. It has also been performed in Orlando, Florida, the Dominican Republic, Madrid, Chile, and Bogotá.
The producers, Producciones Girasol and LAB.A, highlight the play's intelligent and truthful portrayal of the female world, which sparks commentary and discussion among the audience. Additional cast members will be announced later.
