Carlisa Colón, a presenter on TeleOnce's 'En la mañana', shared her journey to a career in entertainment. Growing up in Manatí, Colón initially wanted to be a merengue singer, then considered a career in television. She began by participating in talent shows and singing in groups at local events.
Despite doubts about her ability to succeed, Colón's mother encouraged her to pursue her dreams, emphasizing the importance of faith and saving money. Colón moved to the San Juan area to pursue opportunities in communications, studying journalism as a potential stepping stone to her aspirations. She now works alongside Johnny Lozada, Pepe Calderón, and other notable figures on 'En la mañana'.
Colón reflected on her childhood, saying she was always drawn to the arts and enjoyed imitating singer Yolandita Monge. She also created the platform Finanzas con chispa and is the daughter of Iris Álvarez and sister of Roque Colón and Erika Centeno.
