Néstor Torres to Perform in Concert at Moneró Café Teatro & Bar

Published Jul 16, 2026 · via Primera Hora

Puerto Rican flautist and Latin Grammy winner Néstor Torres will perform in concert with his show 'Néstor Torres: Flauta y mucho más' at Moneró Café Teatro & Bar in Caguas on August 1 at 7:00 p.m. The concert promises to take the audience on a musical journey that combines jazz, classical music, Latin rhythms, and poetry. This will also be an opportunity to preview his new artistic project, 'The Poet’s Revolution', which is set to be officially released in September.

With over four decades of international experience, Torres has become one of the most important flautists in Puerto Rico and the world, known for his unique style that combines virtuosity, sensitivity, and a constant search for bridging cultures through music. He has shared the stage and studio with notable figures such as Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, and Gloria Estefan. 'The Poet’s Revolution' reveals a lesser-known facet of the artist: his poetry, written over two decades ago, which proposes a reflection on inner transformation, individual responsibility, and compassion as drivers of change for society. The concert will offer an intimate experience where the sound of the flute, jazz, improvisation, and poetry will come together to create a different, emotional, and inspiring presentation.
