A gun was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Concordia shopping center in Río Piedras, according to a preliminary report from the Puerto Rico Police. The incident occurred on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. when the victim, an employee of a refrigeration company, returned to his vehicle, a 2019 white Ford Transit Connect XL, and discovered that someone had gained access to the interior and stolen a black Guess wallet containing a Canik Mete MC9 pistol, a gun license, and other personal documents.
Agent Xavier Santiago from the Monte Hatillo precinct conducted the preliminary investigation and referred the case to the San Juan Criminal Investigations Corps' Robbery Division.
