A $3,000 bond was imposed on Jesús Alejandro Galarza Santiago, 27, who allegedly pointed a licensed firearm at three police officers conducting a preventive patrol on July 25 at El Consultorio in Ponce. The case was presented by prosecutor Guillermo Figueroa to Judge Laudelino Mulero Class, who determined cause for arrest.
Galarza Santiago posted bail and was released until the preliminary hearing on August 6. It is unclear if authorities seized the firearm allegedly used to threaten the officers.
