The future of the former W Hotel in Vieques will remain uncertain until January 2027, three years after cryptocurrency investor Brock Pierce filed an $80 million lawsuit to regain ownership of the property. Pierce's former partner, Joseph Lipsey III, repossessed the property in December 2023.
The lawsuit was initiated by Pierce, but the outcome and the property's fate remain unresolved.
