Eliana Enríquez, a player for the Prodigiosas of Sabana Grande, has been named Rookie of the Year for the 2026 Women's Premier Softball League (LPSF) season. Enríquez, a member of the Puerto Rican national team, won the award with 85 points, securing the top spot through a vote among sports journalists, team owners, and league officials.
Hailey Guerrero of the Valencianas of Juncos came in second with 37 points, followed by Nailiah Searight. Enríquez's achievement comes after a successful season with the champion Prodigiosas.
