A 37-year-old man, Víctor David Bernardi Bernardi, was shot and killed on Thursday night at kilometer 0.1 of PR-558 in Coamo, according to the Police. The preliminary report indicates that a call to the police district alerted authorities to shots in the area, and upon arrival, officers found Bernardi Bernardi's body on the pavement with multiple gunshot wounds.
Bernardi Bernardi had a prior criminal record from 2025 for violating the Domestic Violence Prevention and Intervention Law (Law 54). The Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) in Aibonito, in coordination with the on-duty prosecutor, is investigating the incident.
