A human skull was found on Friday afternoon in Aguadilla, on Sábila Street, near the end of Victoria Avenue, according to the Police Press Office. A 44-year-old man discovered the remains while walking with his son towards the Culebrinas River and immediately alerted authorities.
Agent Ángel Morales Acevedo and prosecutor Jeaveny Avilés Ramírez are investigating the scene. The discovery was made shortly before noon.
