According to the 5:00 a.m. monitoring by the Autoridad de Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AAA), the levels of Puerto Rico's main reservoirs showed mixed results on Saturday. The Carraízo reservoir decreased by 1 centimeter in the last 24 hours, reaching 39.19 meters, remaining at the observation level and approaching the security threshold of 39.70 meters.
In contrast, La Plata reservoir had a significant increase of 11 centimeters, reaching 44.95 meters. Other reservoirs registered decreases, increases, or remained stable: Cidra at 400.27 meters with no change, Toa Vaca at 147.20 meters with a decrease of 1 centimeter, and Patillas at 62.18 meters with a decrease of 22 centimeters, the largest reported decrease.
La Plata had the largest increase of the day with 11 centimeters, while Patillas had the largest loss with 22 centimeters, followed by Dos Bocas with a loss of 19 centimeters. The AAA reported that several water bodies registered decreases, while others increased or remained stable.
