Destilería Serrallés, a Puerto Rican family-owned company founded in 1865 in Ponce, has announced the appointment of Martin Guzmán as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Guzmán brings over 20 years of experience in executive positions and international organization management, having developed growth strategies and supervised operations in various regions worldwide.
The company's Board of Directors stated that Guzmán's international experience and business vision will contribute to the continuity of the company's growth strategy and the strengthening of its brands. Destilería Serrallés is known for producing Don Q, one of the most recognized and awarded rum labels in the industry, and the best-selling rum in Puerto Rico.
The company has a tradition of combining traditional distillation and aging methods with innovative processes to produce its products.
