The Puerto Rico Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO) released an update on gas prices, which are fluctuating due to Middle East conflict and oil supply disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz. As of September 16, regular gas prices are expected to range from $1.11 to $1.19 per liter, premium from $1.28 to $1.36, and diesel from $1.51 to $1.57.
The conflict and supply interruptions have driven up fuel costs. DACO provides these estimates as a guide for consumers.
