The Puerto Rico Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO) released an update on gas prices, which are fluctuating due to the conflict in the Middle East and interruptions in oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz. As of September 28, regular gas prices are expected to range from $1.13 to $1.17 per liter, premium from $1.27 to $1.35, and diesel from $1.40 to $1.44.
The conflict and supply disruptions have caused fuel prices to surge.
