Noche de Talentos Puerto Rico, a platform that aims to promote the new generation of Puerto Rican artists, is joining forces with Telemundo Puerto Rico for its 11th edition. The event will take place on September 26 at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas and will feature over 800 young participants showcasing their talents. Producer Edrick Cruz García announced that the competition will award over $15,000 in prizes across different categories, including 'Best Show of the Night', 'Dance - Individual', 'Dance - Youth Concept', and 'Imitation - Youth' and 'Infant'.
The event will be broadcast on Telemundo Puerto Rico's digital platforms starting at 6:00 p.m. Cruz García emphasized that the partnership with Telemundo represents a significant opportunity to support young Puerto Rican artists. The event will also honor singer Melina León as 'Musical Icon', the first artist to receive this recognition from the organization.
The audience can expect a unique experience with performances inspired by popular culture, including imitations of Elvis Crespo, Shakira, Rihanna, and Katy Perry, as well as dances inspired by 'El Chavo del Ocho', 'Moana', and 'Hércules'.
