Ford Puerto Rico has supported the Centros Sor Isolina Ferré (CSIF) for the fourth consecutive year through the Ford Global Caring Month initiative. This year, employees from Ford Puerto Rico, along with CSIF volunteers, worked on a community dining room project in Caimito, San Juan, as part of the 'Sembrando bienestar: de los Centros para nuestra gente' initiative.
They prepared and delivered food boxes to families in need and renovated the dining room, which will provide support to local residents. CSIF also received a $10,000 grant as part of the initiative, which will be used to acquire materials for the dining room's transformation and essential food items for 70 vulnerable families. Rosángela Guerra, Ford's director for Puerto Rico, Central America, and the Caribbean, expressed enthusiasm for supporting CSIF's mission.
Stella Maris Molina Rosario, CEO of CSIF, thanked Ford Philanthropy and Ford Puerto Rico employees for their support of the 'Mesa para Todos' project, which aims to create a space for community encounter, support, and hope.
