Two 36-year-old men were arrested on Friday during a search and seizure operation at a residence located on PR-454 road in the Callejones neighborhood of Lares. Authorities also seized a car, weapons, ammunition, drugs, and cash.
The case will be reviewed by the on-duty prosecutor from the Utuado Prosecutor's Office to assess the possible filing of charges against the detainees. The operation resulted in the confiscation of an escopeta, or shotgun, in addition to other firearms and munitions.
