Puerto Rico's La Plata reservoir has dropped 8 centimeters in the past 24 hours, according to the Autoridad de Acueductos y Alcantarillados' daily report. The reservoir's level is now at 44.31 meters, remaining in the 'ajustes operacionales' category since August 28-29. This level is 7.21 feet lower than the same time last year, amidst the ongoing effects of the 'El Niño' meteorological phenomenon, which has limited rainfall in the region.
Other reservoirs, including Carraízo, Toa Vaca, Carite, Patillas, Matrullas, Lucchetti, Guajataca, and Cerrillos, also registered declines in the past 24 hours, with Carraízo dropping 5 centimeters to 40.58 meters. Reservoirs in the 'observación' category saw no changes, while Dos Bocas, in the 'desborde' category, lost 5 centimeters.
