Puerto Rico celebrated its first three points in the Concacaf Nations League by defeating Dominica 0-2 as a visitor, moving up to second place in Group A of League B. The first goal was scored by Rodolfo Sulia in the 4th minute. Puerto Rico had two good opportunities to increase the score, but it wasn't until the 37th minute that André Cutler made a long pass to Wilfredo Rivera, who scored the second goal.
The team continued to be organized and aggressive in the second half, securing the 0-2 score until the final whistle. After this victory, Puerto Rico will play its next two matches against the Cayman Islands on October 1 and 4. The League B of the Concacaf Nations League consists of 16 teams divided into four groups, with the winners of each group advancing to League A and the teams that finish in fourth place being relegated to League C. The top four teams will qualify directly for the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup, while the two best second-place teams will advance to the preliminary rounds.
