San Lorenzo Mayor Jaime Alverio Ramos announced the establishment of the Agro Dental Care-Sonrisas que Cultivan program, an initiative of the Municipal Agriculture Office aimed at providing free oral health services to San Lorenzo farmers and their families. The program is developed in alliance with the Universidad Ana G. Méndez (UAGM) and its School of Dental Medicine in Gurabo, where participants can receive general evaluations, radiographs, treatment recommendations, and oral health certifications.
Mayor Alverio Ramos stated that the program aims to support farmers and their families, recognizing their importance to the local economy. The Municipal Agriculture Office will provide a VIP referral card to interested farmers, guiding them through the process to benefit from the available services. The program expands the support offered by the Municipal Agriculture Office to the agricultural sector, addressing not only the needs related to their activities but also important aspects of their well-being.
