San Lorenzo is an inland municipality in Puerto Rico's eastern central region, about 21 miles from San Juan and part of the San Juan-Caguas-Guaynabo metropolitan area. It borders Patillas and Yabucoa to the south, Gurabo to the north, Caguas and Cayey to the west, and Juncos and Las Piedras to the east, with its territory organized into twelve barrios plus San Lorenzo Pueblo, spanning about 137.81 km² and home to roughly 37,693 residents as of 2020.
