The Puerto Rico Police are investigating two separate deaths that occurred on the same Monday in Sabana Grande and Añasco. In Sabana Grande, 37-year-old Rene Ramos López was found dead and decomposing in a residence on Callejon Los Ramos. The police received a call at 3:52 pm and confirmed the finding.
The case is registered under complaint number 2026-5-063-002133 and is classified as preliminary. Agent Luz Castro and Agent José Forestier, along with prosecutor Janisa Negrón, are working on the investigation. In Añasco, almost two hours later, at 5:46 pm, agents were alerted to another dead person in a mobile home at Balneario Tres Hermanos.
The body was found in an advanced state of decomposition, and the person has not been identified. The case is registered under complaint number 2026-5-006-002832 and is classified as official. Agent Renato González and agents from the Homicide Division of the Mayagüez Criminal Investigations Corps, along with the on-duty prosecutor, are handling the investigation.
In both cases, the cause of death and circumstances are unknown, and the Police are urging anyone with information to come forward by calling 787-343-2020.
