Autocare, a Puerto Rican company, has opened its first high-volume automated car wash center in Santurce, as part of its expansion strategy in Puerto Rico. The new facility, located on Roberto H. Todd Avenue, is the company's fourth location opened in 2026 and required an investment of approximately $6 million. The center features an automated wash tunnel, a 'quick lube' oil change service, and a self-service interior cleaning area.
According to Enrique Irizarry Armendáriz, president of Autocare, the opening demonstrates the company's commitment to investing in Puerto Rico, creating jobs, and providing customers with convenient vehicle care services. Autocare currently operates 18 locations and plans to open another facility in Bayamón before the end of the year, bringing its total to 19 locations and a cumulative investment exceeding $40 million.
