A 31-year-old man, Jadiel Omar Hernández Serrano, was found dead this morning on the side of PR-199 highway in the Mariquita sector of Guaynabo, according to the Puerto Rico Police. Police officers from the Guaynabo district responded to the scene after a 9-1-1 call reported a person in the area. Upon arrival, they found Hernández Serrano's body in front of a hardware store.
Paramedics from Guaynabo certified that he had no vital signs. The police reported that the body showed no visible signs of violence, and the cause of death is currently unknown. Agent Roberto Marrero Aponte from the Homicide Division of the Bayamón Criminal Investigations Corps and prosecutor Carlos Rodríguez Rodríguez are in charge of the investigation.
