Puerto Rican model Fredito Mathews is participating in a new reality show called 'El túnel del amor' on ViX, where he hopes to find love. Mathews, who previously participated in 'El poder del amor 2' in Turkey in 2022, joins the show with an open mind and a desire to connect with someone special. The show, filmed in Brazil, features 10 pairs of friends who try to play matchmaker for each other.
Mathews is joined by his friend Edgar Rivera, with whom he also participated in 'Guerreros Puerto Rico'. The show's dynamic involves two houses, Ciudad and Playa, connected by a 'tunnel', and a 'room of desire' where couples can express their feelings. The show premieres new episodes every Friday and is hosted by Argentine actress Cecilia Galliano.
Mathews, 37, emphasizes the importance of personality in finding a partner and is looking for someone with a strong personality. His arrival on the show caused a stir among some of the women, who were drawn to his Puerto Rican accent and tattoos.
