The seventh equestrian jumping competition of the Federación Puertorriqueña de Deportes Ecuestres took place with excellent attendance and competitive level. Three riders, Mikaela Cerra Viñas, Cataleya Guzmán Santiago, and Benjamín Caraballo, dominated the first and second rounds in the .80 meters category. Other winners included Amira Sofia Román Rivera and Gabriela Tonque Pérez in .80 JN, Antonio Hernández and Jilianne Rivera in 1 meter on Saturday, and Isabel Díaz and Aymar Roldán on Sunday.
The president of the Federation, Mildred Colón, noted that the riders continue to work with commitment and desire as the season nears its end. The competition also saw wins from Ella Rosario in 1.10 meters on Sunday, Alana Rivera in 1.20 meters on both days, and Alejandro Gómez in 1.30 meters on Sunday. The eighth competition is scheduled for October 24 and 25 at Hacienda 8A in Las Piedras.
