The Police announced charges against Soel M. Díaz González, a 23-year-old resident of San Juan, for violating the Controlled Substances Act and the Arms Act, following an intervention on October 2 in the El Hoyo sector of Trujillo Alto. According to the investigation, a modified Glock 27 pistol, three chargers, and 37 bullets were seized during the arrest, as well as 38 decks of heroin, five pills, 26 capsules of cocaine, 12 bags of marijuana, and 17 bags of cocaine.
The case was consulted with the on-duty prosecutor, who ordered the filing of charges. Judge Reicarlo De León Colón of the Carolina Tribunal determined probable cause for arrest and set a $25,000 bond, which was posted by the defendant, who was released until the preliminary hearing.
