Two Men Arrested in Guayama Drug Raid

Two men, José A. López Méndez, 61, and Yadiel O. Díaz Martínez, 19, were arrested and charged with violating the Controlled Substances Law in Guayama. Judge Ángel G. Rodríguez imposed a $30,000 bond on each, which they did not post. The arrests came after a raid where police seized 18 crack capsules, nine bags of crack, two decks of fentanyl, and $54 in cash.

The investigation was led by Agent Magdalena Maldonado Cintrón, under the supervision of Sergeant Juan De León, both from the Guayama Drug Division. The men were taken to the Las Cucharas Correctional Complex in Ponce.
