The La Plata reservoir’s water level continued to decrease on Monday, dropping 8 centimeters in the last 24 hours, according to the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (AAA). This reservoir, which started the day at 43.71 meters, is the only one of the monitored reservoirs classified as 'operational adjustments’. Its level has decreased by almost a meter in two weeks.

The Guineo reservoir in Orocovis had the largest reduction, with a 28-centimeter decrease, and is now at a safe level after previously being at risk of overflowing. Other reservoirs that reported decreases include Carraízo, Patillas, Guayo, Loco, and Cerrillos. Meanwhile, 10 reservoirs reported increases in their water levels, including Dos Bocas in Arecibo, which entered a state of overflow after a 17-centimeter increase. The Carite and Caonillas reservoirs maintained the same levels as the previous day.
