A serious accident was reported on the afternoon of October 5 on PR-1 from Ponce to Juana Díaz. Highway Patrol agents from the Ponce area are investigating the accident near Kilometer 115.1, after the Motel Garden.
The number of people injured is currently unknown. Traffic is closed on this route while the investigation is being carried out.
Drivers are being advised to take alternative routes until the investigation is completed and the necessary work is done to ensure road safety.
