Juana Díaz is a town and municipality on the southern coast of Puerto Rico, about 39 miles from San Juan. It lies south of Jayuya, Ciales, Orocovis and Villalba, east of Ponce, and west of Coamo and Santa Isabel, with the Caribbean Sea along its southern edge.
The municipality is organized into 13 barrios plus the Juana Díaz Pueblo and is part of the Ponce Metropolitan Statistical Area. Founded in 1798, Juana Díaz spans 277.23 km² and has a population of approximately 46,538 as of 2020.
Its coastal setting on the southern plain and its integration into the Ponce metro area place it within one of the island's more urbanized southern corridors.
