Utuado to Host Women’s Baseball All-Star Game

The Puerto Rico Women’s Baseball League’s 50 most outstanding players will face off in the 2026 All-Star Game at Utuado’s Estadio Ramón Cabañas this Saturday. The pre-game activities will begin at 5:00 PM with competitions and ceremonial acts, followed by the game at 6:30 PM. The teams are divided into North and South, with 25 players on each team.

Notable players include Valeria Negrón, the current batting leader with a .611 average, and Nashaly Rivera, with 17 runs scored and 19 stolen bases. The South team will feature players from Guamaní, Juana Díaz, Santa Isabel, and Cabo Rojo, while the North team will have players from Utuado, Vega Alta, Las Piedras, and Loíza. Diamilette Quiles will manage the North team, and Rey Bones will manage the South team.

The Artesanas and Estrellas del Guamaní have the most players selected for the All-Star Game, with 10 each. The pre-game competitions will include the longest hit and a throw to second base.
