Utuado is a town and municipality in Puerto Rico's central mountainous Cordillera Central region, about 41 miles inland from San Juan. Founded in 1739, it is the third-largest municipality in Puerto Rico by land area, with a population of approximately 28,287 spread across 24 barrios and the Utuado pueblo.
