Ramón Ramos Guzmán, a 72-year-old deaf man, was found dead in Guánica on Thursday after several days of searching. He was last seen on Tuesday at his home in the La Esperanza neighborhood.
Initially, it was presumed that Ramos Guzmán might be walking around disoriented in the area. The Puerto Rico Police, Emergency Management personnel, and family members participated in the search efforts.
Ramos Guzmán’s body was found in a pumping system in the municipality. The search began after he was reported missing in Guánica.
