On Friday, October 9, Alex DJ, a TV host, took participants from Hacienda Margarita Living Resort, a center for seniors he founded in Las Piedras, to the set of his Telemundo show 'Puerto Rico Gana'. This was the first group outing for the center’s residents since it opened on August 1. Alex DJ wanted to share a unique experience with them and let them enjoy the show from the audience.
The seniors, wearing the center’s official t-shirt, occupied the front row and were enthusiastic throughout the visit. Alex DJ balanced his on-camera duties with interactions with the participants during commercial breaks. He reflected on his decision to establish the center, describing it as his life’s big project, and expressed happiness in providing companionship, affection, and care to seniors.
The center marked two months of operation in October, a challenging but rewarding experience for Alex DJ, who regularly spends time with the participants, singing and engaging in activities with them.
