On May 20, a 21-year-old man, Christopher L. Molina Justiniano, from San Germán, was allegedly involved in the sale of controlled substances to an undercover agent at a Shell gas station in the Cain neighborhood, San Germán. According to the preliminary report, the incident occurred in the afternoon when Molina Justiniano allegedly sold the substances to the agent.
The case was reviewed by prosecutor Gerardo Martínez Rodríguez, who instructed the filing of charges in absentia for violating Article 401 of Puerto Rico’s Controlled Substances Law. The evidence was presented to Judge Luis F. Padilla Galiano, who determined probable cause for arrest and issued a $100,000 bail order. Agents from the Special Arrests Division served the order at the Mayagüez Court, and Molina Justiniano was booked and taken to the Ponce Correctional Complex after failing to post bail.
