A 21-year-old motorcyclist was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night on road PR-486 in the Abra Honda neighborhood of Camuy, the Puerto Rico Police Bureau’s press office reported. The complaint came in at about 9:30 PM. According to the report, the young man was riding a black 2023 Supermash MP-150 motorcycle when a vehicle intercepted him, made him lose control and threw him onto the pavement.
A gunman then approached and took a gold item, his cell phone, cash and the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was injured and was treated by paramedics at a hospital, where he remains admitted. Agent Manuel Piña Figueroa of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) of the Arecibo area is in charge of the investigation.
