The Bayamón court found probable cause for arrest against Gisselle Alexandra Sustache Villegas, who allegedly used a knife to kill her husband at a residence in the Santa Juanita neighborhood of Bayamón. According to a press release from the Department of Justice, Sustache Villegas wounded John Manuel Cosme Hernández in the area of the left clavicle, and the man later died.
The knife was seized as evidence by authorities. The Bayamón prosecutor’s office filed one charge of murder and another for violating the weapons law by using the knife to commit a crime. Judge Najda Banuchi Ramos found probable cause on both charges and set a global bond of $50,000, which was not posted.
Sustache Villegas was jailed until November 5, when she will have her preliminary hearing. The case was investigated by the Bayamón Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC).
