Dangerous sea conditions continue along the northern coasts of Puerto Rico and Culebra, while Vieques faces a moderate risk. Hot, humid conditions will persist, with the greatest heat effects in urban and low-elevation areas. Cloud cover will increase during the day, with a high temperature near 94 degrees Fahrenheit.

Showers over the southwest of the island should diminish through the morning, but new showers are expected to develop in the afternoon over the interior and northwest of the island. Showers are expected to decrease over the west of Puerto Rico by mid-morning, allowing cloud cover to reduce. A high pressure area located northeast of the Caribbean is keeping southeast winds at speeds near 10 knots, about 12 mph.

Rain showers are likely Wednesday, with a chance of some thunderstorms after 3:00 PM. Winds will be initially from the southeast at 5 to 14 mph, shifting to the east-northeast in the afternoon. The chance of rain is 60 percent, with forecast accumulations of between half and three-quarters of an inch. On the night of October 28, scattered showers are expected before midnight and isolated showers after 3:00 AM, under a partly cloudy sky with a low near 73 degrees.

Winds will be from the southeast at around 6 mph, with a 40 percent chance of rain.
