The National Weather Service (NWS) in San Juan maintains a heat advisory for all of Puerto Rico from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Dangerous marine currents will continue until Wednesday, especially along the north, northwest and east coasts of Puerto Rico and Culebra, and maritime conditions will also be hazardous for small vessels. Persistent or repeated showers Monday afternoon and evening could cause urban flooding, small stream and creek swelling, and isolated flash flooding, mainly in southern Puerto Rico, with limited flood risk in eastern areas and southern slopes.

For Monday, scattered showers are expected mainly between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, mostly sunny skies, a high near 92 degrees Fahrenheit, east-southeast winds between 7 and 11 mph, and a 30 percent chance of rain. Monday night, scattered showers fall mainly between midnight and 3:00 AM, with mostly clear skies, a low near 74 degrees and east-southeast winds around 7 mph.

Tuesday brings likely showers and a chance of thunderstorms between noon and 3:00 PM, then scattered showers after 3:00, a high near 93 degrees, southeast winds of 7 to 10 mph, a 70 percent rain probability and forecast accumulations of a quarter to half an inch.
