The Municipality of San Juan announced a special security operation for Halloween Eve, running from Thursday night until early Sunday morning, with 100 police officers and 50 patrols. Surveillance will be reinforced in areas of high crowd concentration, such as the Placita de Santurce, Loíza Street, Cerra Street and Old San Juan.
The plan also covers communities, shopping centers and parks. The operation aims to prevent incidents and accidents and to guarantee the safety of residents and visitors during the festivities.
