The cast features Choco Orta as Omara Portuondo, Michael Stuart as Ibrahim Ferrer, Julio Monge as Compay Segundo, Cherry Torres as young Omara, Jasond Calderón as young Ibrahim, Luis Obed as young Compay, Modesto Lacén as Juan de Marcos, René Monclova as Rubén, Carlos García as young Rubén, Luis Sanz as Eliades and Bri "La Pelúa" as young Haydee, with an ensemble of Solimar Arzola, Nayaret Ennovi, Aura González, Heber Mejía, James Thomas and David Villareal, plus a live band. As related activity, on Sunday, November 1 at 4:30 PM, BAS Entertainment will air a television special on the staging process, produced by Vega with filmmaker Miguel Zayas of Sentido Común, on Telemundo.
