Police are investigating an armed robbery of a cyclist who was exercising Saturday afternoon on road PR-140 in Barceloneta. According to the police report, the 57-year-old man, a resident of Manatí, was riding along the road when he was surprised by two armed men. The report states the men were traveling in a vehicle and, through threats, took $125 in cash from him.
It was not specified whether the cyclist suffered any physical aggression during the incident. The investigation will continue in the hands of the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of Arecibo.
