The first edition of Costa Fest will take place on Saturday, December 5, starting at 6:30 PM at La Costanera, Playa de Ponce. The festival will feature performances by Vivanativa, Circo and DJ Iván Robles, with other surprises to be announced soon, and Rony The Hyper handling the emcee duties. The producers, IQ Entertainment, described Costa Fest as a musical and beach experience that fuses local rock with beach culture at one of southern Puerto Rico’s most emblematic natural settings.
The organizers said they decided that emblematic Spanish-language rock bands like Vivanativa and Circo had to be part of the first edition, and that it was essential to include DJ Iván Robles, whom they called a pioneer and one of the most respected figures in the electronic scene, noting that for more than three decades he transformed the DJ’s role from a hidden figure into the star of the show. They added that the experienced Rony The Hyper will handle the animation and expressed confidence that attendees will have a unique experience.
