The Puerto Rico entrepreneurship program "Prende y Emprende" (PYE) begins its third season on November 11, 2026, running through February 2027, with a new live schedule and a media alliance that takes it to television. The show airs live on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Radio Isla 1320 AM, with a replay on Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is retransmitted on Teleonce 11.2 and Nación’s Facebook page on Fridays from 8:00 to 9:00 PM. Founded and produced by communications entrepreneur Gia Morales, a public relations professional with more than 25 years in media, government and the private sector, the program launched in March 2026 as a one-hour Saturday broadcast on Radio Isla.
Moderators this season are entrepreneur Daphne Barbeito, CPA Javier Hernández and producer Gia Morales, joined by co-moderators Juan Mateo Cidre, engineer Félix Rivera, agronomist Jorge Ramírez Medina and CPA Luis Torres Llompart. Each edition has three segments: Emprende sin Límites, hosted by Barbeito; Desafío Emprende, with CPAs Torres Llompart and Hernández offering economic projections and advice; and Emprende y Cuenta, where Morales shares stories of the island’s business ecosystem.
Teleonce executive producer Cristóbal Ramos, president of Noticias 24/7, said the alliance carries the content to thousands of homes through channel 11.2, Liberty (channels 84 and 284 HD), Claro TV (channel 186), DirecTV (channel 408), Dish Network (channel 271) and Naicom (channel 22). The program is also available on www.radioisla.tv, Facebook, YouTube and Roku.
